Hello and Welcome to the Den. This is the first official post to the new room. This blog will be a spot to share the wildlife sightings here at the den as well as other things that happen here around here. There are more areas coming soon so come on back and see what has happened since your last visit.
I would like to dedicate this post to the bluebirds that frequent here. It has been the last three years that they have been around the den. I can’t wait for the warmer weather so we can bring out the patio stuff to enjoy and I sure hope the hummingbirds return safely. Last year the flowers were so bad off due to an early spring freeze, well this past weekend we witnessed another flash freeze and we are hoping the Rodi’s are not affected as that is an early spring flower meal for the hummingbirds upon their return.
However, we are totally enjoying this wonder blue birds. We have two generations and hoping for generation three this spring *crosses fingers*.
